THE DUBAI CREEK TOWER

The Dubai Creek Tower, a 29-storey building consisting of commercial, residential and office spaces, has a shopping complex at the ground and mezzanine floors and two levels of parking at the basements.

The structural system, made up of reinforced concrete beam-and-column with waffle slab, has a mat foundation resting on solid bedrock.

During its construction in 1994, this tower was the second tallest building in Dubai next to the World Trade Center Building.
