THE ADMA-OPCO & ADGAS TOWER

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Designed to house the headquarters of the Abu Dhabi Marine Operations Co. & the Abu Dhabi Gas Co., this 24-storey tower is fully intended for offices. It has one basement level and a full height glass-covered atrium at the facade.

Located along the Corniche Road of Abu Dhabi, the tower has a foundation made up of bored cast-in-situ concrete piles socketed one meter deep into bedrock and a superstructure made up of reinforced concrete beam-column-slab system to resist gravity loads and two external frames and a core shear wall system to resist lateral loads such as wind and earthquake loads.

This project was designed in joint venture with Ove Arup & Partners of New York City, USA.
